Place was dated. Some busted windows were covered in plywood. Overall not bad, I slept good. Swimming pool was open. Just off of i27 and close to everything. They had breakfast but was basically cereal and toast. (GO to IHOP next door) We decided to stay here just for the pool. Service was top notch.
The welcoming at front desk was great. The manager Roger was the reason I gave it a 5 star, he and all the staff were friendly. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable. Everything at the hotel met our needs. Clean, quite and comfortable.
Handy, just off interstate, rooms large, hair dryer, ironing board, plenty fresh towels daily, limited selection at breakfast but ALL fresh. I stayed 5 nights.
Rooms are decent. (Better than Quality Inn across the street) No adjoining room door so privacy is better. Windows that open to the outside for fresh air. TV works great. AC works great. Refrigerator works great. Ice machine is broke. What's a pool without water. Hallways are dystopian with no artwork or decorations. Kind of reminds me of The shining. Room was nice and clean. Common areas(stairwells) are a little more neglected. Breakfast is very Spartan with nothing cooked unless you want to count the toaster. But that's okay IHOP is right next door. Also for dinner try out ocho 8. Their food is fantastic but a little pricey.
We had a good experience but the best part of our stay by far was Penny at the front desk. She was so kind and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The only thing about our stay that made us uneasy was this sign as you come in. Stating that the cameras are not monitored or recorded. Why would that need to be on signage, other than to promote illegal activity? It made us question how safe we’d be at this hotel. But after meeting and talking to Penny at the front desk on the overnight shift, we decided to book and she made sure we had a great stay.
My name is Lorenzo Greenwood. My crew and myself recently stayed at SUPER 8 in Plainview Texas. Judy and Haley were Awesome! We got service everyday and their kindness was five star. I wanna thank Judy for courageously serving and giving us proper management on leadership. We will definitely be revisiting as soon as work is in that location. Peace to SUPER 8. The people at the front desk were very nice. Hotel was clean. Good breakfast. I will come back.
Checked in late but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was ok. The building is old but the rooms have been updated. The bed was comfortable.
